The Technical Associate Director, Investor Services PERES Malaysia, is responsible leading day to day operations across the department’s key activities: PERES Investor Services, and for overseeing and assuring the disciplined execution of critical client service delivery, continuous improvement and risk and control initiatives.

What will you do?
Accurate and timely execution of agreed day to day processes supporting the capital call / subscription, distribution/redemption, transfer, and conversion functions across a range of Private Capital Services structures.
Ensure tolerance checks are complete, and any outstanding items are investigated and cleared.
Oversee and support day to day work of Shareholder Services administration and ensuring accurately and timely execution of agreed process.
Perform quality checks or second level validation on output from the team.
All deadlines need to be monitored & any issues escalated & communicated appropriately to stakeholders & clients.
Ensure that escalation protocol to Management is strictly adhered to in case of operational issues and events.
Perform additional ad-hoc task from the SMT’s.
Act as the escalation point for the oversight, execution of complex process and control functions, ensure high quality of allocated deliverables and providing backup relief to for staff and deal with escalated issues/queries.
Identify and address obstacle or challenges that may impede team progress or performance.
Daily Task Allocation: Oversee and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of activities.
Resource Planning: Manage resource allocation and optimize staffing to meet business requirements and operational demands.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Minimum 10 years in relevant financial service expertise with at least 5 years in a management role
- Good knowledge about Fund/Trust Industry and Financial Markets in general
- Prior exposure to Operational Risk and the corresponding risk monitoring tools
- Strong managerial skills, with a proven track record of managing change.
- Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role and to create a high-performance team.
- Keen sense of urgency, with an ability to work to tight timelines and with constantly changing priorities.
- Programme/project management experience.
