-The Veterinarian is responsible for providing medical care to animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and injuries. The role involves examining animals to determine their health status, performing surgeries, prescribing medications, and advising pet owners on proper animal care.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct physical examinations and diagnose illnesses or injuries in animals.
-Perform surgeries, including spaying, neutering, and emergency procedures.
-Administer vaccinations and prescribe appropriate medications.
-Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, preventive care, and general animal health.
-Maintain accurate medical records for all animals treated.
-Conduct laboratory tests such as blood work, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
-Ensure the clinic/hospital complies with health and safety regulations.
-Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff for efficient workflow.
-Manage emergency cases and provide critical care when necessary.
-Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest veterinary practices
Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
