Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the full spectrum of HR functions, including Recruitment, Payroll, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations (ER), and Industrial Relations (IR).
- Supervise and monitor HR team members in charge of individual units, ensuring alignment with HR policies, timelines, and company goals.
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to subordinates, ensuring proper execution of HR tasks and addressing operational gaps.
- Act as the point-of-contact for HR project-based assignments from the HR Manager, including cross-functional tasks and data consolidation.
- Compile, review, and analyze reports from various HR units (e.g. Training Needs from L&D, Attrition Data from Recruitment), and prepare presentations or dashboards for management.
- Assist in preparing annual HR budgeting, especially in areas like Learning & Development, manpower planning, and staff welfare initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR best practices, and internal policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations and disciplinary issues, and support grievance handling with proper documentation.
- Work closely with department heads to align HR strategies with business goals, including workforce planning and performance management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR functions and assist in implementing HR systems or digital tools where applicable.
- Support HR audits, policy reviews, and standard operating procedure (SOP) updates.
- Act as acting HR Manager when required during the manager’s absence.
