We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Group Finance Department as an Accounts Assistance Manager / Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage core finance functions including financial reporting, planning and analysis, compliance, and operational finance. The role supports strategic decision-making and ensures financial integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Review AR/AP reports, provide insights on payment cycles and collection trends.
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Collaborate with business units to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
- Monitor budget performance and provide insights for corrective actions.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Oversee cash flow planning and liquidity management.
- Support treasury operations.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and audit standards.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial governance and corporate policies.
- Liaise with internal departments, external auditors and other stakeholders as needed.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems.
- Support finance transformation initiatives including automation and digital tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancing, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and lead a team.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under pressure.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
