- Assist the Chef in planning, preparing, and supervising the cooking of authentic Minang dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, food quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Supervise kitchen staff, delegate daily tasks, and ensure efficient team operations.
- Manage inventory, assist in ordering supplies, and ensure proper use of ingredients to avoid wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and kitchen organization at all times.
- Train new kitchen crew and support staff development by guiding proper cooking techniques.
- Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Chef.
- Work closely with restaurant management on menu development or introducing new items.
