Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Advertising and Promotions Assistant Manager to join our team, supporting three established performing arts organizations — Dance Space Sdn Bhd, Damansara Performing Arts Centre Sdn Bhd, and Ballet Theatre Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
This role is ideal for a multi-talented individual with strong content creation and graphic design skills, who also has a good understanding of social media trends and digital marketing. You will be responsible for crafting compelling marketing campaigns, developing promotional materials, and managing our online presence to attract and engage a wide range of audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Design
- Develop visually engaging content (graphics, videos, posters) for print, digital, and social media platforms.
- Design marketing and promotional materials including brochures, advertisements, newsletters, and show collaterals.
- Write clear, persuasive copy for various marketing channels.
- Social Media & Online Platforms
- Plan and manage content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and engagement.
- Stay current with social media trends and incorporate best practices into our online strategies.
- Public Relations & Communications
- Coordinate with media outlets and partners for coverage and publicity.
- Draft press releases, media kits, and event announcements.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and collaborators.
- Campaign Management
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across different channels.
- Work closely with internal departments (artistic, education, operations) to align promotions with programming and sales goals.
- Coordinate advertising placements and ensure timely rollout of campaigns.
- Brand & Identity
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and visual identity across all materials.
- Support efforts to enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing, promotions, or creative roles.
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Proven experience in content creation for social media and digital platforms.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Familiar with PR strategies and media engagement.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities across multiple companies and brands.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for the performing arts is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
