Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the department.
- Manage Corporate Finance, AP, AR, Budget Control, Asset, Operations, and Procurement Finance functions.
- Liaise with Auditors, bankers, Tax Authorities, Statutory Authorities, DBKL, Vendors, Insurance, and others.
- Prepare full set of accounts including subsidiaries.
- Prepare estimated tax computation including filing CP204/CP204A and deferred tax.
- Prepare and compile tax compliance, including liaising with tax agents.
- Prepare periodic service tax, imported service tax, and withholding tax submissions.
- Prepare and administer stock code creation.
- Ensure reconciliation with internal generated reports.
- Familiarize with customized integrated in-house developed system.
- Liaise and correspond with foreign remittances and transactions.
- Liaise with tax agents/auditors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare and administer fixed assets registration, including periodic audit of asset existence.
- Verify petty cash reimbursement submissions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or Professional Qualification.
Experience:
- 10 years in a managerial post in a related field.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge in MFRS reporting.
- Good knowledge in investment property tax treatment (e.g., mall/office building).
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools, especially for cash flow projections.
- Sound knowledge of accounting software.
- Sound knowledge of taxes.
