STAR ACCOUNTING SDN BHD are currently expanding and in line with this growth, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our organization! You will be mainly responsible for full set of accounting activities including finalizing & reviewing accounting work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Able to handle full set of accounts
- Ensure all accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system
- Ensure timely submission and accurate monthly financial reporting
- Liaising with internal and external auditors, company secretaries, tax consultants, and the relevant authorities
- Finalization of accounts for annual audit and taxation matters
- Independently review accounting work
- Adhere and monitor compliance of accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy or relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or partially qualified or currently pursuing professional examinations are encouraged to apply
- You will need at least a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the related field
- Must worked in Audit/Accounts firm for minimum 3 years
- Required Skill(s) : Full set account, UBS, AutoCount & Management Accounting
- Able to work under fast pace environment and multi-tasking
- Initiative, independent and able to withstand of pressure
- Hands on, attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with tight timelines and has the sense of urgency
