JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Set daily and weekly plans, follow up on tasks given to the workshop team, and hold regular meetings with management.
- Ensure work flows smoothly in the workshop, with proper quality checks and documentation.
- Create and follow routines to keep the workshop organized, clean, and up to standard.
- Keep tools and equipment in good condition; arrange for repairs, purchases, or calibration when needed.
- Work with the procurement and inventory teams to make sure spare parts are available.
- Coordinate with Customer Service to handle repairs or troubleshooting of customer equipment returned to the workshop.
- Promote teamwork and open communication to reach common goals.
- Track and manage workshop expenses and stay within budget.
- Set and review KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure performance.
- Review current processes and suggest improvements to make the workshop more efficient.
- Oversee all workshop activities, making sure they follow company policies and procedures as meet workshop goals.
- Perform other tasks given by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in workshop or production/operations.
- ERP experience preferred.
- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a diverse team and manage workload under pressure.
- Experience in managing foreign worker is an added advantage.
- Willing to work in a workshop environment at USJ 1, Subang Jaya.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
