Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web pages using content management systems (CMS).
- Ensure all web assets comply with Coherent’s branding guidelines and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and IT teams to implement website updates and enhancements.
- Optimize web pages for performance, SEO, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web content and functionality.
- Create and edit multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and animations, for digital campaigns.
- Maintain version control and documentation for all web development projects.
- Stay updated on web development trends, tools, and best practices.
- Support web-based marketing campaigns by creating landing pages and promotional materials.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in web design and production roles.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and multimedia editing software.
- Familiarity with SEO and website analytics tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Working Conditions
- This position is onsite / hybrid
- Requires collaborative work in a dynamic environment, with teams across different time zones.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines or support global initiatives.
- May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
- Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.
Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.
