Job Responsibilities
1. Manage and organize inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient retrieval of items.
2. Oversee the receiving process, ensuring incoming stocks from suppliers are logged and stored appropriately.
3. Inspect products for any damages or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
4. Pick, check, pack, and label goods accurately for delivery while maintaining quality standards.
5. Ensure the accuracy of dispatch and delivery records, verifying goods are sent to the correct destinations.
6. Take clear photos of products before delivery to maintain proper records.
7. Provide daily delivery updates to the sales team, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery.
8. Assist in regular stock counts, cycle counts, and stock-taking activities to maintain accurate inventory records.
9. Aid in the loading and unloading of goods for deliveries, ensuring proper coordination with delivery personnel.
10. Follow warehouse systems and procedures to optimize workflow and maintain orderliness.
11. Review production schedules and create material requirement plans (MRP)
12. Maintain planning parameters in ERP/WMS.
13. Work closely with procurement to ensure supplier commitment on critical components.
14. Manage short- and long-term forecasts based on customer orders and stocking programs.
15. Plan for seasonal demand fluctuations and bulk orders
16. Monitor supplier OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and escalate delays.
17. Collaborate with engineering to adjust plans during product changes or new model launches.
18. Review excess and obsolete stock and propose mitigation actions.
19. Assist in cost reduction by planning for bulk purchases or supplier consolidations.
20. Ensure proper documentation and planning for regulated materials.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Min 2 years of experience as a material planner or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Basic knowledge in ERP software, to manage material planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize inventory, minimize costs, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
- Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting using tools like Excel.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and supply chain best practices.
