Responsibilities:
- Conduct R&D activities, including product formulation and preparation of formulation costing
- Prepare and present prototypes for internal and customer assessment.
- Present development ideas and prototypes to customers when required
- Collaborate with sales, operations, suppliers, and customers to meet project objectives.
- Provide technical support, training, and customer presentations.
- Support scale-up activities for product commercialization
- Establish and validate key technical parameters and performance criteria for new products
- Review and verify application methods and ensure product functionality meets intended use
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Evaluate and approve new raw materials in collaboration with procurement and technical teams
- Travel as required for trials, development support, and customer visits.
- Perform other related tasks or ad-hoc assignments as required by superior.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Basic knowledge of bakery and confectionery products
- Familiar with food safety systems (e.g., FSSC 22000), Halal, Kosher & Sustainability Certifications
- Practical, hands-on problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a results-driven mindset
- Business-oriented, with effective negotiation skills
- Responsible, patient, and solutions-focused with a positive attitude
- Minimum degree in Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Studies, or any other related food-related fields
- Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing R&D

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
