Job Summary:
The Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of the meat shop, ensuring smooth management of sales, inventory, staff, and customer service. This role requires expertise in handling both fresh and frozen meat products, maintaining hygiene standards, and managing overall store performance. The ideal candidate will lead the team to achieve sales targets while ensuring top-quality customer experiences and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth sales flow and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the handling, storage, and display of fresh and frozen meats in compliance with food safety standards.
- Implement and maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety protocols within the store.
- Monitor stock levels of fresh and frozen meats and other related products.
- Conduct regular stock counts and manage stock rotation to reduce wastage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and place orders based on demand forecasts.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of meat products to comply with food safety regulations.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Oversee the display and merchandising of products to enhance customer appeal.
- Prepare work schedules, manage shift rotations, and ensure adequate staffing.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and local food handling regulations.
- Report on customer feedback, sales trends, and store issues to the management.
- Monitor and control store expenses to maximize profitability.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in F&B or meat-related businesses.
- Strong knowledge of fresh and frozen meat handling, storage, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Ability to manage staff, handle customer interactions, and oversee store operations effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays based on operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in F&B or butchery retail.
- Knowledge of food safety certifications and compliance standards.
- Strong sales and customer service background.
- Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies for improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
