Job Description
The Role
The Senior Partnerships Manager plays a key role within the APAC Marketing team, with a primary focus to expand on content and strategic partnerships across eight APAC geographies, with a spotlight on driving partnerships in Skills (microlearning) and Community initiatives.
The position combines leadership duties with cross-functional influence across product development, marketing strategies, engineering integration, content curation, and go-to-market execution. Sitting at the intersection of partnerships and innovation, this role will lead strategic growth efforts while aligning with organizational goals to enhance user experiences, foster community learning, and deliver impactful partnerships that matter.
This role takes accountability for APAC-wide strategic partnerships, delivering on key integration goals while managing dynamic ecosystems. By building alliances in Skills and Community, the role contributes directly to advancing the company's regional influence and innovation within diverse local markets.
Secondment Terms
This secondment will be for 12 months in duration, although it may be shortened or extended based on business requirements and the individual candidate’s performance in
the position. For the duration of the secondment, any internal candidate will still remain a permanent employee if they are already a permanent employee. All terms and conditions of their employment remain the same, and should the secondment end at any time, they will have the right of return to their substantive position prior to the secondment commencing.
Secondment Details

- Team Structure: Reports to Head of Community and Commercial Partnerships (Marketing)
Leadership & Program Oversight
- Lead and manage 2 team members for 12 months
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and strategic direction to ensure alignment across markets
- Travel as needed to provide in-person support to country leads and strategic partners
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders within the Content and Creative Services team.
- Coordinate with commercial and product teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and ongoing delivery
- Ability to synthesis insights and collate partner feedback to inform content and product development
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing Leadership Team and key stakeholders on content and platform performance
- Develop clear, data-driven recommendations to increase content consuming users on Skills and Community, and shape strategic decision-making
Partnership Strategy & Execution
- Identify and lead high-impact, APAC-wide partnership opportunities to scale content partnerships across the region
- Leverage existing SEEK relationships and proactively build new partnerships to drive market expansion
Team Participation & Knowledge Sharing
- Participate in regular virtual team meetings and share insights across markets
- Stay informed on local and regional content trends and emerging partnership opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire quality prospects that includes content, distribution, rewards, goodwill partners and others
- Leverage network of contacts in both the public and private sectors to build up a strong ecosystem of partners for SEEK
- Formulate partnership strategies and conduct market surveillance to identify key focus areas
- Design and oversee the end-to-end partnership experience from onboarding onwards (including commercial campaigns, models & integration) to drive continuous engagement and active user growth across SEEK owned platforms
- Manage the process of tracking impact across partnership executions – post-mortem, content performance and ROI analysis
- Drive growth of existing relationships with ecosystem partners by ideating and pursuing mutually beneficial opportunities
- Understand market trends, customer desires and data analytics to derive insights and make improvements based on them
- Establish and manage external relationships with agencies, partners, suppliers and clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in media, marketing, or business development with proven track record of delivering results
- Digital native – possesses solid experience and familiarity with online business and digital technology
- Stakeholder management – displays excellent influencing, facilitation and negotiation skills with the ability to be persuasive and trusted by all levels including senior management
- Analytical - structured thinker who places emphasis on data-driven decision-making
- Sound judgement and decision-making ability – able to operate autonomously and provide clear, decisive guidance when consulted
- Customer-centric mindset – always striving to meet customer needs, viewing the journey from their perspective and mindfully incorporating their feedback into solutions wherever possible
- Strong communicator and compelling storyteller – able to narrate a convincing, insight-based, customer-centric story
- Innovator – continuously seeks to improve the status quo, conceives creative solutions to business problems and is willing to take a calculated risk to test them out early and often
- Commercial acumen – able to evaluate and improve economic viability of value propositions
- Project management – a proven track record in driving timebound initiatives to a successful conclusion
- Sales – prospecting, pitching and closing deals and/or partnerships
- Strategic thinking – always has in mind the “big picture” and can formulate strategies to be successful in the near and long terms
