Job Description
Join SEEK's Artificial Intelligence Platform Services team in Malaysia and help millions of job seekers find their perfect roles! As part of our Recommendations Squad, you'll blend data science, research, and ML engineering to build AI solutions that connect the right candidates with the right opportunities at internet scale.
What You'll Do
Transform business challenges into data-driven solutions, research and deploy cutting-edge recommendation systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to revolutionize how people find jobs. You'll work with massive datasets, explore emerging ML techniques, and directly impact job placements across SEEK's global platforms.
- Translate business challenges into clear, data-driven problem statements
- Gather and validate relevant data for analysis
- Build and deploy AI recommendation systems that connect candidates with recruiters
- Optimize job matching algorithms to improve placement success rates
- Partner with cross-functional teams on complex business problems
- Lead end-to-end solution development from concept to deployment
- Research emerging ML technologies and methodologies
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Data Science, ML, Computer Science, or related field
- • 3-5 years of applied data science and ML experience in business environments
- • Strong skills in SQL, Spark, Python/Scala/Go
- • Deep expertise in classification, ranking, and recommendation systems
- • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Bonus Points For

The Team
The Artificial Intelligence Platform Services (AIPS) is structured into cross-disciplinary squad with members from Data Science, Strategy and Engineering who work together to research, design, build and support end-to-end machine learning based products delivering direct value to hirers and job seekers.
