Job Description
- Conduct daily EHS walkthroughs and report unsafe acts or conditions.
- Ensure immediate correction of non-compliances and proper PPE use.
- Assist in managing and verifying PTW for high-risk activities.
- Conduct toolbox talks and pre-task briefings; maintain attendance records.
- Supervise high-risk activities (lifting, excavation, electrical, etc.).
- Act as safety spotter during hazardous operations.
- Respond to incidents, preserve scenes, and assist in investigations.
- Monitor waste disposal and environmental controls (dust, noise, runoff).
- Check bunding and spill control for fuel/chemical storage.
- Spot-check contractor EHS documents and provide inductions.
- Maintain EHS logs, permit registers, and observation records.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports and track corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science or equivalent
- 5 - 8 years of experience in construction or industrial site safety supervision
- Valid Yellow Book Holder
- CIDB Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification
- Familiar with HIRARC, PTW systems, incident reporting, and local regulatory frameworks.
