We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern with a strong interest in customer engagement and SME business development. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in telemarketing and consultative sales while working closely with our sales team.
As a Sales Intern, you will engage with interested Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) prospects through phone calls, instant messaging, and other communication platforms. You will learn to follow a proven sales script and system, focusing on building trust, presenting solutions, and supporting the closing process. Unlike traditional cold calling, you will be working with warm leads from prospects who have already shown interest in our programs.
This role is an excellent opportunity to develop practical sales skills, gain exposure to SME growth strategies, and build confidence in client communication, all within a supportive and performance-driven environment.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in making outbound calls and WhatsApp follow-ups to potential SME customers using daily provided warm leads.
- Support engagements with potential SME customers through various communication channels, such as phone calls and instant messaging, to understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Learn and practice consultative sales techniques (training provided), including building rapport, asking the right questions, and using sales scripts under supervision.
- Assist in sharing information about our programs such as development plans, investor network access, capital opportunities, and entrepreneurship resources.
- Work closely with the sales team to collect customer feedback, share insights, and help improve lead quality.
- Conduct simple desk research on SME trends, success stories, and entrepreneurship practices to support the sales team’s initiatives.
- Help maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities, as well as support participant registration and online course seat arrangements.
- Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and reporting activities to gain hands-on exposure in sales operations.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Outgoing and confident personality, with strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal proficiency in Chinese is required.
- Passionate about entrepreneurship, business development, and equity fundraising, with the ambition to pursue a sales or commission-driven career path.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to multitask, follow up effectively, and perform in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
