Pre-Opening Phase Responsibilities
- Assisting in building the initial client database covering corporate, government, group, and leisure accounts.
- Actively sourcing business leads through cold calling, online research, networking, and referrals.
- Preparing sales proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
- Supporting sales managers during roadshows, promotional events, and pre-opening campaigns.
- Conducting competitor research and reporting findings to management.
- Assisting with the preparation of marketing and sales materials in collaboration with the MarCom team.
- Coordinating with the pre-opening team to set up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales processes.
- Ensuring accurate data entry, pipeline tracking, and reporting of sales activities.
- Handling client inquiries promptly and professionally to secure early bookings.
- Supporting recruitment, orientation, and training sessions within the sales team during pre-opening.
Post-Opening Phase Responsibilities
- Managing assigned accounts (corporate, government, travel agency, or group segments) to achieve sales targets.
- Conducting daily sales calls, client visits, and follow-ups to develop new business opportunities.
- Preparing proposals, contracts, and agreements for confirmed bookings.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Coordinating with Banquet, Front Office, and MarCom teams to ensure seamless execution of events and stays.
- Assisting managers in preparing monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Monitoring competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales tactics.
- Supporting upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize revenue.
- Representing KLIH at trade shows, networking events, and corporate meetings as assigned.
- Maintaining professional and updated client records in the sales system.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
