About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Sales & Commerce Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for effectively assisting in secretarial, administrative support, execute catering and events activities and working closely with banquet operations colleague to ensure confirmed events are coordinated accordingly and have the events run smoothly. The Sales Coordinator reports to the Director of Catering/Director of Commerce.
As Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Maintains the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude toward all hotel guests, clients and colleagues
- Maintains professional business confidentiality
- Maintains the highest standard in grooming
- To assist with proposals and contracts as assigned.
- To ensure that Salesforce is updated with accurate information such as covers and revenues.
- To assist in generating reports from Salesforce for the purpose of revenue tracking and forecast.
- General administrative work such as filing, updating record of proposals and contracts, requisition order.
As Sales Coordinator, we expect from you:

- Minimum completed Secondary School education.
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management or equivalent will be an advantage
