- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure the site complies with all local and national safety laws, including OSHA / DOSH / NIOSH / ISO 45001 requirements.
- Maintain records and documentation required for safety audits and inspections.
- Risk Assessment and Control:
- Identify potential hazards and conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) / Risk Assessments.
- Recommend and implement risk mitigation measures.
- Site Monitoring:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on-site.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
- Incident Management:
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Training and Awareness:
- Organize and deliver safety induction, toolbox talks, and specific safety training.
- Promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and review emergency response plans.
- Coordinate fire drills, evacuation procedures, and first aid readiness.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain updated records of safety reports, training logs, safety committee meetings, and incident records.
- Submit safety performance reports to management regularly.
