Job Description:
The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for maintaining the presentability of the showroom, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting customers in their purchasing decisions. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating positive shopping experiences
- Achieving individual sales targets and contributing to store goals
- Maintaining product knowledge and staying updated on new merchandise
- Assisting with inventory management and store presentation
- Supporting senior staff with daily operational tasks
Reason for Recruitment:
The need for this position has arisen due to increased customer interactions and the potential for closing larger sales. With our focus on home/lifestyle/furniture retail, it’s essential to have motivated individuals who can engage effectively with customers and drive sales.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Preferably experience in retail sales or customer service.
- A personable and open character, with a Type A personality that thrives in a sales environment.
- Ability to work well in a team and receive training from experienced Store Managers.
- Basic administrative skills for reporting and assisting with tasks.
