Job Summary
We’re seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. This role is all about creating a welcoming environment for parents and caregivers, offering expert advice on baby products, and ensuring a smooth and joyful shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection based on their needs
- Provide detailed information on baby products, including safety features and usage
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary items (e.g., pairing strollers with accessories)
- Maintain store cleanliness and attractive product displays
- Operate the POS system for purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and baby care trends
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Support in receiving deliveries and organizing stockroom
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- SPM or equivalent; retail or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with baby products and child safety considerations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items
- Passion for helping families and creating a positive shopping experience
