Job Description
- Assist the manager in achieving organizational goals.
- Responsible for the execution of new product industrialization project for new platform and platform/customer variations project.
- Responsible and manage series care and engineering change project.
- Collaborate and support Customer/Product Project Manager to coordinate and monitor project related activities across cross-functional teams, including the plant, simultaneous engineering (SE) team, product development team, and customer project team. This includes aligning interest, addressing product design and process requirement, organization Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) workshop, and achieving project milestones.
- Coordinate customer visits.
- Manage and oversee customer sample build activities for assigned project to ensure timely delivery that meets quality standards and specifications.
- Provide support for plant product price calculation (PPC).
- Serve as the plant’s Global Engineering Change Coordinator, moderating regular team review meeting and ensuring timely implementation of ECRs.
- Coordinate engineering change request, including documenting, obtaining approvals, managing implementation workflows, and validating changes through trial run activities in the plant.
- Foster professional growth to maintain relevant knowledge and skills, enabling sound decision-making and effective handling of assigned tasks with minimal managerial intervention.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Project management
- Minimum 3 years in manufacturing/product engineering roles, with at least 5 years in project management.
- Hands-on expertise in project management knowledge areas (preferably PMI® standards).
- Automotive industry experience is a big advantage, especially familiarity with IATF 16949 standards.
- PMP certification is highly preferred, reflecting your project management excellence.
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
- A confident communicator, capable of delivering compelling presentations to diverse audiences
