RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production Documentation & Record-Keeping
- Prepare and update daily production reports, job orders, work orders, and shift summaries.
- Maintain accurate records of raw material usage, finished goods, and scrap/rework.
- File and control production-related documents in accordance with ISO/QA standards.
- Production Coordination
- Liaise with the planning department to ensure smooth release of production schedules.
- Coordinate with production supervisors, quality control, and warehouse for job progress updates.
- Follow up on urgent orders, priority jobs, and any changes to the production plan.
- System & Data Entry
- Input production data into ERP/MRP systems accurately and on time.
- Monitor system updates for work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Compile production KPIs such as output efficiency, downtime, and defect rates.
- Highlight variances between planned and actual production for management review.
- Support for Compliance & Audits
- Assist in preparing production-related documents for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality management systems, and safety requirements.
ACADEMIC / SKILL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Diploma in Manufacturing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years in a production administration or coordination role, preferably in metal manufacturing.
- Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
AUTHORITY
- Verify and endorse production records before submission to management.
- Request clarification or corrective actions on incomplete or inaccurate production data.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Malay: Fluent for internal communication and documentation.
- English: Good proficiency for reporting and cross-department communication.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
