The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This role involves greeting customers, helping them find products, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they enter the store.
- Assist customers in finding products, answer their questions, and provide recommendations.
- Provide product information, promotions, and sales offers to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card, or other forms of payment in a secure and responsible manner.
- Ensure all sales are recorded accurately and receipts are issued.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock or out-of-stock items to management.
- Ensure products are neatly displayed and organized in the store.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in restocking as needed.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing product displays according to company guidelines.
- Assist in opening and closing the store according to company procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail or sales roles is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weight items.
- Work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
