Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations, standards and procedures;
- Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace;
- Developing and implementing measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents;
- Designing and delivering safety training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote safe work practices;
- Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence;
- Developing, updating, and enforcing safety policies, procedures and protocols;
- Planning and coordinating emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols;
- Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess compliance and ensure adherence to safety standards;
- Maintaining accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections and compliance activities;
- Communicating safety-related information to employees, management and relevant stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance;
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in safety practices and procedures to enhance workplace safety and reduce risks.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in related field;
- Valid DOSH Registered SHO (Green Book);
- Three or more years of experience in related department;
- Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise;
- Understanding of safety management system and regulatory issues;
- Being a DOE registered Scheduled Waste competent person is and advantage;

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
