Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting Business Growth: Assist P&L Head in expanding and developing DIMKUL Ocean Freight team in alignment with strategic business plan.
- Operational & Service Excellence: Oversee customer service and operations activities, ensuring adherence to defined SOPs to deliver exceptional service quality.
- Team Development: Build a high-performing, collaborative team through effective communication and integration.
- Carrier Relationship Management: Strengthen relationship with ocean carriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
- Financial Accuracy: Ensure timely billing and costing to support accurate month-end financial reporting.
- Profitability & Strategy Alignment: Monitor cost-to-sales ratios and accounts receivable to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and profitability goals.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, quality assurance certifications, and risk management protocols.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Management to support departmental and organizational goals.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean freight operations and customer service.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs procedures and shipping documentation in Malaysia.
- Proven ability to lead and manage team effectively.
- Good communication and coordination skills with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Able to manage billing, costing, and reporting accurately and on time.
- Familiar with SOPs, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in logistics systems (Sealnet, MyCIEDS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Able to work independently and align with business goals.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
