Job location in Confinement Centre (Seremban 2)
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Antenatal Care (Before Birth)
- Conduct routine check-ups for pregnant women.
- Provide advice on nutrition, health, and exercise during pregnancy.
- Identify high-risk pregnancies and refer to doctors as needed.
2. Intrapartum Care (During Labour and Delivery)
- Assist and manage normal childbirth.
- Monitor the condition of both mother and baby during labour.
- Provide emotional and physical support throughout delivery.
- Handle minor complications and recognize emergency signs for referral.
3. Postnatal Care (After Birth)
- Monitor the recovery of the mother after childbirth.
- Advise on breastfeeding, baby care, and family planning.
- Conduct postnatal home visits and monitor infant development.
4. Health Education & Counseling
- Educate parents on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
- Provide support and counseling on reproductive health issues.
5. Records & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Fill in birth reports, antenatal/postnatal records, and other clinical documentation.
6. Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in clinical meetings or internal training when required.
7. Equipment & Hygiene Management
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of delivery instruments.
- Follow proper infection control procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered and licensed with the Malaysian Nursing Board (LJM) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in maternal care is an added advantage.

- Willing to work on shifts, including nights and weekends.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
