JOB SUMMARY
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1) Marketing Strategy & Delivery
- Collaborate with the Director of Admissions & Marketing – Malaysia, along with school academic and admissions teams, to ensure marketing strategies align with annual budgets and school objectives.
- Gather and analyse local catchment area data and insights from both internal and external sources.
- Partner with the Admissions Manager, Director of Admissions & Marketing – Malaysia, and Principal to plan and implement the school’s annual marketing plan.
- Design and execute localized marketing strategies and tactical initiatives that address market demands and school needs.
2) Marketing Communications
- Develop the school’s annual communication strategy in collaboration with the Director of Admissions & Marketing – Malaysia and the Principal.
- Maintain and manage a content calendar to share school narratives, success stories, and updates consistently throughout the year, working with the regional team and school stakeholders.
- Create a variety of content—including written copy, visuals (using Canva, InDesign & Photoshop), photography, and video—to support the content calendar while ensuring alignment with the school’s identity and messaging.
- Ensure the school website and communication channels remain updated with dynamic, relevant content.
- Review, negotiate, and manage marketing/vendor agreements, partnerships, and entitlements across both schools to maximise cross-promotional opportunities.
- Utilise all relevant communication channels and platforms to support school events, webinars, and activations aimed at improving parent engagement and loyalty.
- Provide communication support to the Principal for parent-facing materials when required.
- Collaborate with Admissions to strengthen relationships with feeder schools and other organisations within the catchment area through targeted marketing and student recruitment initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong ability to develop and implement effective marketing and communication strategies.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop) with basic photography and video editing skills considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools, including social media and website management.
- Strong multitasking and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
