Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Mall Manager to oversee the daily operations, tenant relations, marketing activities, and customer services of our shopping mall. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of the mall, maximize tenant satisfaction, and drive overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational aspects of the mall, including security, housekeeping, maintenance, and customer service.
- Manage tenant relations, including leasing, renewals, collections, and resolving concerns to ensure high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns and events to drive footfall.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, monitor expenses, and control operational costs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.
- Liaise with contractors, service providers, and vendors for facility services.
- Monitor and analyze sales reports, traffic data, and tenant performance metrics.
- Develop strategies to increase customer retention and mall attractiveness.
- Lead and manage a team of department heads (e.g., maintenance, security, marketing).
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in mall or retail property management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, leasing, and tenant management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party service providers.
- Proficient in MS Office and facility management systems.
- Flexible to work during weekends, holidays, or extended hours when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
