Job responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical).
- Respond promptly to maintenance service requests or emergency calls.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct repairs on machinery, fixtures, doors, walls, floors, and other building components.
- Monitor and maintain facility safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, or space modifications.
- Monitor and manage tools, equipment, and spare part inventory.
- Support other departments with facility-related needs (e.g., setting up furniture or equipment).
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Advanced understanding of general facilities/ maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in various environments.
- Willingness to work on-call hours or weekends as needed.
