Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our Legal Department. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for law students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in a fast-paced legal environment and support day-to-day legal operations, compliance matters, and contract reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents including contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and internal policies.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings on various regulatory and compliance topics.
- Support the legal team in preparing for meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents.
- Assist in monitoring changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather information required for legal documents or due diligence exercises.
- Perform other administrative or legal-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Strong interest in corporate and commercial law.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Malay or other languages is a plus).
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn.
