Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging Phonics and English lessons for preschool-aged children.
- Introduce letter sounds, blending, segmenting, and early reading skills.
- Foster a love for reading and language through interactive storytelling, songs, and activities.
- Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources relevant to the English and Phonics curriculum.
- Monitor and assess each child’s learning progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Ensure the well-being, safety, and hygiene of all children under care, including assisting with toileting, handwashing, and cleanliness routines when necessary.
- Guide and nurture children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
- Set up, maintain, and organize the classroom environment to be clean, safe, and conducive for learning.
- Ensure classroom materials, toys, and learning resources are well-maintained, sanitized, and stored properly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.
- Build positive communication with parents regarding children’s development and daily experiences.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge and experience in teaching Phonics (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Letterland, or other recognized systems) is an advantage.
- Passionate about working with young children and supporting their overall development.
- Patient, responsible, and caring personality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Fresh graduates with relevant practicum experience are encouraged to apply
