1. Beverage Preparation:
- Learn and prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Assist in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment under supervision.
- Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation.
2. Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
- Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations.
- Handle customer feedback or concerns professionally, escalating issues to senior staff when needed.
3. Shop Maintenance:
- Keep the barista station, equipment, and dining area clean and organized.
- Refill supplies such as milk, syrups, and coffee beans as needed.
- Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning duties.
4. Team Support:
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge.
5. Operational Duties:
- Restock inventory and communicate shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices.
- Handle payments and process transactions through the point-of-sale (POS) system when required.
Requirements:
- Passion for coffee, tea, and customer service.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in food and beverage (preferred but not required).
