Job Description:
Technical Support:
- Provide first and second-level support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, LAN/WAN networking, and business software systems.
- Address user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computing devices and software systems.
Operational Support:
- Perform daily operational support tasks including server and network administration, backup operations, and PC hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for IT activities, change management, and information system security enforcement.
IT Asset and Licensing Management:
- Oversee the management of IT assets and licensing across the group of companies.
- Track and report on asset usage and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
Infrastructure Support and Improvement:
- Support and manage IT infrastructure components such as networks, web mail, and CCTV systems.
- Recommend and implement enhancement and improvement solutions that align with corporate IT strategies and business objectives.
Procedural Enforcement:
- Enforce and update IT procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with best practices and company policies.
Application Development and Support:
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of applications based on business requirements.
- Analyze, review, and modify system components and solutions to ensure they meet company needs.
Vendor and Contract Management:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and suppliers to ensure effective service delivery and product quality.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements for IT products and services, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company standards.
Project Management:
- Involved in IT projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, and monitoring during the implementation stage.
- Ensure IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
Ad-hoc Tasks:
- Perform additional tasks and projects as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support and administration, including server and network management.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Experience with IT asset management, licensing, and vendor relations.
- Familiarity with IT security practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace for business.
- Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to travel to project sited to provide IT support.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
