Internship - Career Services
Internship duration: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communications & Social Media
- Manage communication channels including Career Services email and social media platforms
- Draft event write-ups, social media captions, and newsletters
- Drive online engagement and promote events creatively to boost student participation
2. Data Management
- Maintain and update the Job Opportunity and Employer Partnership (EP) databases
- Support the revamp of data tracking systems to improve service efficiency
- Handle graduate employment survey (GES) data transfer and coordinate GES calling
3. Meeting Support & Reporting
- Attend collaboration and employer partnership meetings
- Take notes, identify key messages, and summarise discussions effectively
4. Event & Initiative Support
- Assist in the execution of Career Services events and initiatives
- Potentially lead and support key student events such as Student Ambassador (SA) Orientation and INTIMA Week
- Serve as event crew, assist with event setup, logistics planning, and post-event reporting
- Prepare and issue event-related documentation such as certificates
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Education or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
- Organised and detail-oriented with good time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with basic database handling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
