Job Scope:

1. Review and verify import documentation received from clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations, trade agreements, and internal company policies.

2. Prepare and submit import declarations, import licenses, permits, and other required documents to customs authorities and relevant government agencies.

3. Maintain proper record-keeping of import documentation, ensuring documentation is complete, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

4. Collaborate with customs brokers and internal teams to resolve any customs-related issues or inquiries.

5. Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and other freight forwarders, to obtain necessary shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

6. Coordinate with carriers and other service providers to arrange transportation, customs clearance, and delivery of imported goods.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in import customer service or related roles within the freight forwarding industry.

2. Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.

3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and external partners.

4. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

5. Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications related to import documentation.

6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
