Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee the full scope of HR operations, including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of HR best practices and Malaysian labour law, and be capable of supporting company growth while cultivating a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce.
Job Description :
1. HR Operations & Compliance:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, attendance tracking, and employee documentation.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with Malaysian labour laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records and implement standard HR policies and procedures using Infotech system.
- Continuously review and improve HR SOPs to ensure legal and operational alignment.
2. Talent Acquisition:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment from manpower planning to candidate selection and onboarding.
- Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs and ensure timely placement.
- Develop sourcing strategies using online platforms, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support current and future staffing needs.
3. Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing:
- Strengthen the company’s employer brand through digital platforms and career-related content.
- Manage recruitment-related online presence (e.g. job portals, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) to attract quality candidates.
- Create and schedule engaging recruitment-related content (e.g. employee testimonials, behind-the-scenes, day-in-the-life videos) to enhance visibility and employer appeal.
- Plan and execute hiring campaigns or initiatives that reflect company culture and values.
- Collaborate with internal teams to showcase the company as an engaging and rewarding place to work.
4. HR Systems, Automation & Strategy:
- Lead continuous improvements in HR system usage (e.g. Infotech) to streamline payroll, attendance, and employee data management.
- Drive system automation to reduce manual workload and improve accuracy across HR operations.
- Generate HR reports and analytics (e.g. turnover, absenteeism, cost trends) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Align HR practices and structures with the company’s growth plans and operational goals.
5. Performance Management & Training:
- Develop and manage structured performance evaluations, including probation assessments and annual appraisals.
- Collaborate with department heads to define clear KPIs and performance expectations for each role.
- Identify skills gaps and arrange suitable training, coaching, or development initiatives.
- Support managers in addressing underperformance with clear guidance, follow-up, and documentation.
6. Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution professionally and fairly.
- Address behavioral and attitude issues through proper procedures, counselling, and documentation.
- Maintain a respectful, compliant, and supportive work environment.
- Conduct exit interviews and follow-ups to identify patterns and improve retention.
7. Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Fully manage payroll calculation, statutory contributions, and claims processing.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly payroll summary to Director for salary disbursement.
- Track and administer leave, MC, and attendance records within the system.
- Submit and monitor government claims as needed.
8. Culture & Leadership Support:
- Act as a strategic HR partner to management and department heads in shaping team structure and culture.
- Promote a performance-driven, values-aligned work environment.
- Manage internal communication and engagement programs (e.g. announcements, festive events, recognition).
- Foster cross-team morale through inclusive, well-structured HR-led initiatives.
- Ensure all HR communications and actions reflect professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in using Infotech HR system or similar tools for payroll and attendance.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory compliance.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Saturday.
- 9.00 am - 5.30 pm including 1 hour break.
- Alternate Saturday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
