We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated HR professional to take ownership of end-to-end recruitment, lead efficient onboarding processes and cultivate a positive workplace culture through meaningful employee engagement initiatives. This role will also provide support for smaller HR projects, playing an active part in enhancing overall HR operations and driving continuous improvement across key people practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & On-boarding
- Responsible for the entire recruitment activities within the assigned position, such as posting job ads via multiple channels, interview, reference checks, close offer, and conduct induction program for new employee.
- Responsible end to end onboarding and offboarding of employees, including but not limited to induction and exit clearance.
- Manage and maintain accurate and updated records related to recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Prepare offer letters, contracts and other employment-related documents.
- Analyse recruitment and onboarding processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Provide reports and metrics on recruitment and onboarding activities to HR leadership when required.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Cultivates and maintains a positive corporate culture; conduct employee engagement and relations activities.
- Support in developing and implementing strategies to embed the desired culture across all levels of SW Group.
- Implement and analyse employee feedback mechanisms including surveys and focus groups to identify trends, concerns and opportunities for improvement.
- Support in developing and executing communication plans to keep employees informed about organisational updates, goals and achievements.
Others:
- Assist in the development of HR policies & procedures.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned by the direct reporting manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience as HR Generalist, with Talent Management experience.
- New graduates with relevant interest or education are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledgeable on HR processes and labour laws.
- Analytical, meticulous, responsible and possess good communication skills.
- Discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Proactive with the ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
- A team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must be willing to work in Juru Sentral, Penang.
