Our client is a highly rated, polished all-suite hotel known for its upscale amenities, including an outdoor infinity pool, a stylish café, and a rooftop rainforest garden. In line with their commitment to continuous improvement in service and operations, they are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join their team.
This is a strategic role where you will work closely with the Management team to oversee all HR-related administrative activities. You will be responsible for shaping HR strategies, implementing HR systems, managing employee benefits and payroll, and overseeing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain up-to-date HR policies and ensure consistent application across the organization.
- Maintain and regularly update the organization chart and employee directory.
- Align HR strategy with the company’s overall business objectives in collaboration with senior management.
- Oversee and maintain HR systems, ensuring compliance and process efficiency.
- Manage employee performance reviews and salary benchmarking exercises.
- Guide and support HR team members across various functions.
- Design and execute effective employee engagement and retention programs.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes.
- Ensure all job descriptions are accurate, relevant, and comply with legal standards.
- Develop training materials and performance management tools to support employee development.
- Design a competitive and compliant compensation structure using market data and salary surveys.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues and conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Utilize performance management systems to drive feedback and development across teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in human resources, employee relations, organizational development, and HR policy implementation.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in using HRIS/HRMS platforms and payroll systems.
- Solid understanding of the complete payroll cycle and administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR strategies across various domains, including compensation, performance management, recruitment, and compliance.
- Experience in using HR data and analytics to support workforce planning and decision-making.
