Role Overview – Assistant Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Pokok @ Lalaport. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in café or casual dining operations, a hands-on leadership style, and a genuine passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Outlet Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and team management.
- Ensure excellent service standards and a smooth customer experience.
- Handle staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Manage floor operations during peak hours and lead by example.
- Oversee inventory, stock levels, and ordering.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient service.
- Support marketing efforts, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in the F&B industry.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexible with shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Passionate about food, people, and delivering great customer experiences.
