Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and government safety regulations through audits, training, and site inductions.
- Inspect workplace, machinery, equipment, and processes to identify safety risks.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc.).
- Investigate and report accidents, near-misses, and occupational health issues, maintaining proper records.
- Support and coordinate with the Safety & Health Committee in implementing safety programs and workplace inspections.
- Act as secretary to the Safety & Health Committee and carry out related duties.
- Customize and implement EHS policies and procedures according to site requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must be a valid Green Book holder (registered with DOSH).
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) and related regulations.
- Experience in handling audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Good communication, coordination, and training skills.
