The Role: Growth Manager – Commercial Growth Core
As a Growth Manager within the Commercial Growth Core team, you will collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Technology teams across SEEK Asia to develop, commercialize, and market impactful employer propositions. You will own and enhance the end-to-end digital customer journey for Employers, ensuring SEEK Asia remains the partner of choice for hiring across the region.
You will play a critical role in crafting and executing growth strategies that deepen customer relationships and drive long-term value from contracted hirers.
Job Description
- Ideate and develop value propositions that increases hirer adoption of contracts / various commercial constructs, which includes an in-depth understanding of the industry, market research, competitor trends, market requirements and penetration strategies
- Ideate, size, prioritize and drive execution of strategies across the customer lifecycle, i.e. acquisition, retention, upsell, spindown gating and winback to achieve growth in contracted hirers
- Be the voice of contracted hirers, monitor outcomes and value from SEEK, leveraging insights gathered by Customer Experience, GTM, Product and UX. Assess and ideate improvement opportunities, design initiatives and work with other teams to achieve better outcomes for hirers
- Ideate, manage, and execute experiments / commercialization of new contract constructs, customer journeys and products, in collaboration with Marketing, Product, Business Development, GTM, Business Operations and Country teams, to ensure end-to-end success
- Identify near term country growth opportunities to drive key business outcomes for contracted hirers. Manage strategy and progress of initiatives, working closely with other functions to drive successful execution in the areas of (but not limited to):
- pricing promotions / bundling
- new commercial constructs / product value enhancements / new products / services
- digital experience / platform / optimisation
- sales channel optimisation / innovation
- marketing strategies / campaigns
- Work with analyst(s) to build the required datasets / analytics / reports to inform decision making and support stakeholders on root cause analysis, prioritisation, forecasting and performance tracking
- Support the Commercial team in driving timely reviews of deliverables, stakeholder engagement, project documentation and effective communication of actionable insights to stakeholders across all levels
Key Business Outcomes
- Revenue from contracted hirers
- Paid hirer count and market share from contracted hirers
- Paid ad count and market share from contracted hirers
- Hirer ARPU of contracted hirers
- Success of specific initiatives led (e.g., business results, timeliness and budget spend)
Qualifications
The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a track record in driving transformative business growth, ideally in a digital business
- Strategic thinking – always has in mind the “big picture” and can formulate strategies to be successful in the near and long term
- Customer-centric mindset – always striving to meet customer needs, viewing the journey from their perspective, and mindfully incorporating their feedback into solutions wherever possible
- Passion for digital marketplaces and products – experience in, familiarity with and interest in online business and digital technology
- Stakeholder & project management – displays excellent influencing and collaboration skills with the ability to be persuasive and trusted by all levels, with a proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Team player – have a collaborative, empathetic work style and a high degree of humility and compassion
- Commercial acumen and sound decision-making – able to quickly form hypotheses and articulate convincing, insight-based, customer-centric story
- Analytical and results oriented - structured thinker who places emphasis on data-driven decision-making; comfortable in working with large volumes of data
- Technical skills - strong in Microsoft Powerpoint/ Excel (mandatory), Tableau (preferred)
- Innovator – continuously conceives creative solutions and experiments to improve the status quo
