A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Finance Manager whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Finance Manager will lead a large regional team and work closely with the CFO, CEO and senior leadership team, to financially drive the business and take responsibility to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner, ensure that financial resources are distributed appropriately, and budgets are planned and followed. The core focus of the team is to maintain the financial health of the business, and it's the Finance Manager’s role to offer insights and financial advice to allow the team to make the best business decisions for the company.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor the regional finance team across multiple countries and coordinate with the team on day-to-day finance functions and queries.
- Oversee each finance function across multiple countries, ensuring processes are streamlined and consistently applied.
- Review and manage the budget, consolidate financial data, and review the team’s inputs for accuracy and alignment.
- Monitor and lead the monthly financial review process, including financial performance and deviation analysis
- Prepare consolidated group financial statements and ensure accuracy in annual closing processes.
- Review the Group cash flow forecast on a monthly basis (or upon ad hoc request), ensuring proper allocation of funds.
- Review and approve payments on a weekly basis to ensure the payments are released adhering to the payment approval structure and limits
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and various stakeholders and ensure business adherence to all internal financial policies & procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and address changes in accounting and tax regulations across multiple countries.
- Support a wide range of Group-level initiatives, including tax planning and efficiency strategies, group transfer pricing management, process improvement and alignment across markets
- Lead internal control monitoring and enhancement
- Build strong relationships across departments, providing financial support, guidance, and strategic insights to leadership teams.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Five to ten years of experience in a leadership position, preferably at a regional or multi-country level.
- Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask
- Thrives under pressure and is solution-oriented
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Candidates with ACCA / CPA / CA / MIA qualifications and consolidation experience are a plus.
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage
- Familiarity with IFRS (especially IFRS 16), tax compliance, transfer pricing, and regional regulatory frameworks is a plus
- Proven ability to implement financial controls, policies, and process improvements across multiple entities.
