Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage all pre- and post-contractual documents, including consultancy agreements, construction contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
- Provide contractual and commercial support throughout all project phases—from feasibility, tendering, and award to execution and completion.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and administer contractual claims, variations, extension of time (EOT) requests, and other related issues.
- Monitor project costs against budgets, review progress claims, and verify interim and final payments to contractors and consultants.
- Work closely with project managers, legal teams, procurement, and finance to ensure contract compliance and risk management.
- Liaise with external consultants, QS, legal advisors, and statutory bodies on contract-related matters.
- Maintain a comprehensive contract management database and ensure proper documentation of all project correspondences.
- Support dispute resolution processes, including claims analysis, mediation, or arbitration when necessary.
- Keep updated with industry best practices, legal developments, and statutory requirements related to contracts and construction law.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in contract administration or contract management within the property development or construction industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., PAM, CIDB, JKR), procurement processes, local building regulations, and legal frameworks.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
