This outlet is small and constantly busy, with dine-in and delivery running back-to-back from open to close.
We’re hiring Malaysian cooks only who are fast, disciplined, and fully committed to maintaining consistency and top performance — especially under pressure.
Position Overview
As a Line Cook, you’re not just part of a kitchen — you’re part of our core operations. This role involves not only preparing high-quality food efficiently but also upholding strict SOPs.
From time to time, you may be asked to start earlier to support the CK team — this will be compensated with overtime pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare dishes to order, following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Serve food quickly and hot for both dine-in and delivery — no delays
- Maintain consistent food quality and meet all company SOP requirements
- Complete daily mise en place to avoid disruption during peak hours
- Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and FIFO rotation practices
- Support other outlets and production when required — including early start shifts (OT provided)
- Assist in inventory control and delivery handling within the outlet
- Work closely with the Outlet Chef and kitchen team for smooth coordination
- Perform accurate opening and closing routines
- Provide support to junior staff or part-timers when needed
- Carry out other assigned duties from kitchen leadership
Candidate Requirements
- Malaysian citizen with valid IC (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong understanding of food prep, SOP discipline, and time management
- Able to work under pressure in a small but busy environment
- Willing to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Must be prepared to assist other outlets, when required
- Responsible, punctual, and committed to maintaining food quality
- Positive attitude and works well in a team environment
