We are hiring Malaysian cooks only who are disciplined, quick, and committed to maintaining the highest standards under pressure.
Position Overview
As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations. You’ll be responsible for preparing food quickly and consistently while strictly following SOPs and hygiene standards. At times, you may be asked to support the central kitchen (CK) team with early shifts — overtime will be paid.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare dishes to order, ensuring correct recipes, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Serve food fast, hot, and fresh for both dine-in and delivery.
- Maintain consistency and uphold all company SOPs.
- Complete mise en place daily to ensure smooth peak-hour operations.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Follow strict food handling, storage, and FIFO practices.
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and delivery handling.
- Support other outlets and production teams when required (OT provided).
- Accurately complete opening and closing routines.
- Guide junior staff and part-timers when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Chef.
Candidate Requirements
- Malaysian citizen with valid IC (required).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, SOP discipline, and time management.
- Able to thrive under pressure in a small, busy kitchen.
- Willing to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Flexible and willing to assist other outlets when needed.
- Responsible, punctual, and committed to food quality.
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
