Pre-Opening Phase

Assist in setting up the bar area, including inventory, glassware, small equipment, and menu familiarization.
Support recruitment, training, and onboarding of bar staff.
Help develop service workflows and beverage service standards.
Conduct bar testing, dry runs, and support SOP implementation prior to opening.

Operational Duties

Lead and coordinate the team of bartenders and bar servers during service hours.
Ensure bar areas are clean, well-stocked, and properly set before and after each shift.
Supervise drink preparation and ensure all beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
Personally engage with guests to ensure a welcoming and satisfying experience.
Monitor bar hygiene, equipment care, and compliance with safety and licensing standards.
Address guest feedback and service recovery professionally.

Team Coordination

Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign daily responsibilities.
Coach and mentor junior team members on service etiquette, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with outlet and kitchen teams for smooth coordination during busy periods and special events.

Inventory & Control

Monitor daily usage of bar stock and submit requisitions as needed.
Track wastage, breakages, and consumption patterns; maintain accurate shift reports.
Ensure all beverage transactions are accurately recorded in the POS system.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a bar or lounge environment, with at least 1 year in a team lead or captain role.
Good knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail presentation, and bar hygiene practices.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused with an engaging and professional demeanor.
Familiarity with basic inventory procedures and POS systems.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
