Role Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our team in keeping projects on track, on budget, and well-documented. You will work closely with experienced professionals, assisting with cost estimates, procurement and site measurements, while building the skills and knowledge to progress in your surveying career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets and review tender documents.
- Pre-qualification and compile tender list for tender.
- Prepare Interim Valuation recommendations, Variation Order claim and taking off quantities for contractors’ payment to ensure their claim is correct.
- Support in the procurement process, including issuing enquiries and reviewing supplier quotations.
- Evaluate and prepare payment recommendations for consultant claims to ensure their claim is correct.
- Assessment of variation order claim by contractor and settlement of Final Accounts to close the projects had ended.
- Monitor project costs and prepare interim valuations.
- Help with contract administration and variations.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support the preparation of final accounts.
- Perform any other job functions that may be assigned by the Superior.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic QS software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
