The Assistant Manager, Facilities is responsible for supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and improvement of all facility-related functions. This role ensures that the facility is safe, functional, compliant with regulations, and operating efficiently. The role involves supervising maintenance teams, coordinating with vendors, and assisting in facility planning and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
- Support the Facilities Manager in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate in-house maintenance staff and external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor facility usage, energy consumption, and propose improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
- Assist in managing facility budgets, procurement of equipment, and inventory control.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate immediate solutions.
- Liaise with other departments for facility support and space planning.
- Maintain documentation such as maintenance logs, service reports, and inspection record

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
